Caterpillar's four battery powered equipment is about to debut at the Munich International Engineering Machinery Exhibition

Caterpillar is committed to helping customers achieve sustainable development goals by providing targeted solutions to meet their specific needs in different regions, construction sites, and other situations.
Among them, battery powered electric devices are one of the many solutions launched by Caterpillar. The four prototype devices to be exhibited this time include: CAT ® (Carter) 301.9 Mini Excavator, CAT 320 Medium Excavator, CAT 950 GC Medium Wheel Loader, and CAT 906 Compact Wheel Loader.
These devices are powered by Caterpillar prototype batteries and also include a car mounted AC charger. In addition, Caterpillar also plans to provide non vehicle DC fast charging options.

The batteries designed by Caterpillar for these devices are also suitable for other industrial applications. The lithium-ion battery series developed based on mature Caterpillar technology adopts a modular design, which can provide flexible configuration across multiple applications. It can also be expanded and designed according to industry and customer performance requirements, thereby achieving greater sustainability throughout its entire lifecycle, including recycling and reuse after the end of the usage cycle.
